Itinerary and highlights
The Basilica of Higüey, whose official name is Basilica Catedral Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia, is a Catholic sanctuary in Salvaleón de Higüey, Dominican Republic. It is the cathedral of the diocese of Nuestra Señora de la Altagracia in Higüey and one of the busiest sanctuaries in the Caribbean.
Playa Macao is a beach located in the northern part of Bávaro in the eastern region of the Dominican Republic. Macao Beach contains white sand with palm trees in its surroundings. It is very popular with the locals and is also a tourist spot for surfers and those who take buggies and four wheel tours.
We start with the Typical Dominican Souvenir store where you can buy your gifts for your relatives. Then we will see the demonstration of hand-rolled cigars. Following the visit to the Typical House where you can see the Dominican culture from the most humble that we can be.
We will take a tour of the Anamuya River where we will make a stop to enjoy the Spa and take photos.
They can also enjoy a ride on horses.
